Useful park and ride for Snowdon Pyg and Miners trails. The bus driver was friendly and informative. £2 each, each-way on the bus so take change if you can. Clean toilets available too.

Works out more expensive than pen y pass car park. £5 to park Very limited spaces cars dumped everywhere and the bus is £2 per person. They don’t do return tickets. They also don’t take card on the bus ONLY CASH I found this out when I tried to return. This car park is 3.1 miles from pen y pass car park I no this because I didn’t have any more cash only cards for the bus and so had no choice but to walk back along the road which was lovely nearly getting run over on the busy road after a nice hike up snowdon.

As the Pen-y-Pas parking lot fills up very early, this is a great alternative. It’s a paid parking with toilets. You can either take the bus to the Pyg/miner track or take a cab. The cab is £2 per person and they are waiting at the parking lot. Super convenient!

Great alternative for those who arrive late morning for Snowdon hike. Take cash, as there is no ATM and you'll need it for a bus.

When we first arrived, we didn’t know what we were doing or where we were going. I’m happy to say that everything worked out so easily getting us to Snowden.

So, yes you can park here, but you can also pay online and park across the street at Cae gwynn. There are bathrooms and a pay station near the bathrooms. I did not see an ATM, but we personally didn’t need one. The red busses come up to take you to Pen-y-Pass. I was able to pay with Apple Pay and I believe it was £2/person.

There is one or two stops before Pen-y-Pass, but once you get there, walk opposite the direction of the information Centre and you will be at the beginning of Miner’s Trail. This trail is 4 miles there and 4 miles back - 8 miles total. I honestly felt like 3/4 of the hike was climbing/descending rock so please be prepared for that. My knees were killing me the second half but was thankful to have a walking pole and ibuprofen lol.

Good luck! Have fun!!! You can do it!!

Great alternative to the Pen Y Pass car park which fills up really quickly in the morning. Clean toilets on site and plenty of room with a regular shuttle bus to Pen Y Pass. Card machine was broken when we visited so make sure you have £5 in coins!
