Greens of Highgate

I really wanted to like this place - it looks so pretty and festive - but the fruit is so substandard. The plums were hard and fizzy, and the pomegranates were browned on the inside and sour. Lovely lady at the counter, but I wouldn't buy my fruit from here again - M&S is far superior.

This is the first time I have ordered from Green's, and I am hugely impressed. The small mixed box of fruit and veg had a variety of excellent produce, all of which would keep for a few days. A godsend in these self-isolating times. The promised delivery duly arrived within three days. Many thanks.

Greens of Highgate offer amazing quality on their speedy deliveries of fruit and veg, eggs and flowers. I’ve had the nicest avocado ever. I love the fact they choose for me and it’s all a surprise. The flowers are very beautiful and last for ages. It’s made me realise that food is to enjoy as well as just eating to survive!

Absolutely fantastic service from this family run business. They went over and above with producing a gorgeous fruit hamper and even adding in some coffee beans from Starbucks next door for a colleague who had recently undergone hip surgery. She was overwhelmed with the delivery and will be coming in to thank you personally once she is up and mobile properly. Thank you again for such a brilliant service and would highly recommend this business.

We’ve always picked up fruit and vegetables at Greens as part of our regular shop in Muswell Hill due to the fantastic range and quality as well as being able to pop in whilst walking our dog. However since lockdown their fruit and vegetable boxes have been a lifesaver particularly at a time when we were self isolating and weren’t sure we’d be able to get to the shops. The produce is always of a very high quality and the range in the boxes has meant we’ve been well stocked up. I suspect we’ll certainly continue to get the boxes after lowdown - thank you!

I bought from Greens of Highgate prior to lockdown as I work in food (and they know great produce!) but since lockdown the veg boxes have been a lifesaver. Beautiful variety every week with amazing seasonal treats like rhubarb and asparagus have kept us healthy and me inspired. Also I have no idea how every single avocado is perfect but it is👌🏻

Original review: The fruits were always fresh. The service can be improved though.
The apricot I ordered a while ago was missing (April 22). I sent an email to ask for a refund but never heard back from the owners.

Update: The owner saw my original review and informed me that they’ve refunded me in April (my account shows the refund on 27 April). Thanks!
