Really nice and tidy place. Called into the control tower to check if it was OK to take a couple of pictures for facebook, spoke to a really nice lady who.allowed me to take my pictures and she also told me about the cafe onsite which is well worth a visit.

Already posted a review so this just reiterates that I was surprised by how interesting I found this museum. Its not massive & probably not the best place to take little children but there's lots to see. It's very informative & the staff are happy to tell you all about things too - most interesting. Not sure how they would cater for wheelchair users inside the building as there are some steps as you walk around due to the nature of the building's initial use when it was the base - it may be worth contacting them before visiting if you have special needs. Fascinating place though & older kids (& adults too!) would love the planes. They are raising funds to further improve the exhibits & the planes they have outside - a worthwhile endeavour & I wish them good luck.

A real unexpected gem. One of the former maintenance crew - Bob - provided some illuminating context. Several old vehicles out front and a treasure trove of stuff from the days when Bentwaters was an active base inside. Lots of cold war history info too.

Was last there at 8 years old and lived on base housing a couple of years. Went to elementary school at RAF Woodbridge. There was a bunker across from our home that I would slide down in winter. Another great memory is the base had a large ditch that I would bike through with friends when heading to commissary. Would love to visit one more time.
