GJ Honour Family Butchers

My family have used Honours for a long time. I used them for the first time on Saturday to get some beef brisket and they were so helpful and friendly on the phone. My husband collected the meat and came back with some wonderful sausages and chicken breasts. Doesn't compare with our supermarket! We will be back, many thanks.

Simply sensational!
I went to a 30th birthday and these guys had been hired to provide the meat and cooked it on the barbecue. It was my first BBQ of the year for me and I have to say I’d be amazed if it’s not the best I’ll have this summer.
The burgers were a solid 10 out of 10 but the chicken was an 11. I can honestly say that it’s up there with some of the best chicken I’ve had in my life - tender, succulent and very tasty.
I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Excellent quality meat at a reasonable price - a rare find. They also have flavoured meats which are truly delicious. Their Thai Chicken dish is fabulous, but runs out quickly.

Asked for beef rib, the guys were very knowledgeable in helping me with the cut i was looking for, then cut the 3 ribs i asked for.
I cooked it at 120c for about 10 hours on the smoker. It came out perfect, easily the best smoked meat i have ever done. I couldnt recommend this shop more. I got a beef knee for my rescue dog and hes still going at it.

This is a fantastic butchers. They are always so friendly and give really good advice. We go there to pick up meat for a special meal (Xmas turkeys etc.. are excellent) but they also do really good special offers on meat which is way cheaper than the supermarket and superior quality.

Super strange they don't display prices of the meat - this is the only butcher in my life I've ever seen that, and I can only assume it's to prevent people comparing prices to other butchers or supermarkets.

I absolutely love this butcher I used to live in the area and moved but regularly come from a distance to use them ! I have been to butchers closer to me but not a single one has matched the quality ! I honestly can’t recommend them enough ! They are always polite and helpful and I recently discovered they deliver which is even better !!

Brilliant Butchers, Nathan and the team are great. Really fresh produce, with good selection and excellent cuts for the amateur chefs. A lot of the beef and lamb is all grass fed which is a bonus and all sourced locally. I live just down the road and this is my go to butchers for everything from BBQ to a Sunday roast.
