What a find!!! On holiday and popped in for a family steak pie whilst on our travels. Ended up buying loads as the quality and choice is outstanding. Went out of our way to go back to Norham on the way home JUST to go to this butcher. Meat amazing, pastries to die for and so many home made goods that I wish I could buy the house next door which is for sale. And lovely lovely staff. Can't recommend highly enough. Go and have a look. Bring me back a cheese scone (a fillet of beef and a family pie) please. 🥓🥩🍗

We ordered 2 pork pies for Christmas and collected them on Monday 23rd. They were wrapped in see through thick plastic with all the air sucked out, so clearly not freshly made, also without any sell by or eat by date on either. After eating half of one each that same night my husband felt very nauseous, I thought it tasted of plastic! Won't be going back, second pie got thrown away even though I hate wasting food. Sorry Formans, you did not pass muster for us! Won't be back!

What a fantastic butcher, stopped by after walking the College Valley. Lamb cutlets landed on the bbq this evening - the most flavoursome and tender I have eaten. Added to that a great selection of wine too. Thank you and look forward to returning one day.

Foreman's sell so many lovely food and drink items - fresh meats, pies, ready made foods such as soups, lasagnes, scotch eggs and more. They stock a selection of Doddington cheeses, wines, spirits, jams, chutneys, sauces and Ford's the bakers rolls and tarts.
There are freshly made sandwiches, tray bakes, scones and hot drinks available.

They even sell fishing equipment items!

Called in while out cycling, not just a butchers, great selection of bakery goods, pies, cakes, freshly made sandwiches, and hot drinks, friendly service, the proprietor was very understanding when I managed to overflow his drinks machine😵‍💫 plenty of al-fresco seating in the park just outside, I had a lamb Hot Pot pie which was lovely😋 as well as very reasonably priced.. I'll be back 🚴‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

After a big day riding this place was a great find. Lovely pies and some energy boosting treats. Would have loved to have had the opportunity to buy some of their meat too, it looked awesome.

Fed our family of 4 to test drive this place whilst staying locally. Scotch eggs, ham and nettle cheese for lunch on honey spelt bread.
Ribeye, Cumberland and wild boar sausages, and a beautiful piece of venison all cooked with ease on the BBQ. Restaurant quality home cooked at less than half the price…
