Cambridge Butchers Cousins

Operating a 3 in 3 out policy,you can safely buy all the meaty goodness you need and then indulge yourself with a good hearty fresh made fruit pie.Not just meat and pies though,there's tinned goods,drinks and a nice chat too.......and a post box just opposite!.

Would recommend Cousins for freshly baked steak pies (and cornish pasties or quiches). The steak pie was juicy, full of flavour, and beef pieces were tender. The shortcrust was also great - tender and not too thick. Portion was quite large, ate over a couple meals. Will be back for it in future.

Excellent service; thoughtful replies to questions, and the product they delivered exceeded my expectations! I really enjoyed the steak pie, and the meats were fresh and of good quality! We will be ordering more in the future!

Beautiful and flavorful cuts, lovely homemade pies, and an interesting selection of pasta (love the Gorgonzola-filled gnocchi :)

Excellent quality meat and great service. We've been buying our meat from Cousins for several years now and won't buy from anywhere else. The team kept going all through the pandemic and really go the extra mile. I enjoy popping in on a Saturday morning for the friendly banter and to pick up our meat order. I cannot recommend this butchers enough! Not only do they do the greatest pies they have the best customer service to go with it. It's such a joy to go in and pick up my order as it's always provided with a friendly smile and chit chat. I email my order in and it's always ready to collect very quickly. If you are looking for high quality meat and produce look no further!

Everyone at Cambridge Butchers Cousins are so friendly and helpful. Whenever I have asked for something to be ordered in for me, they get it promptly and the meat has always been excellent quality. Tony and the team have also provided useful cooking advice. I will definitely be sticking to this lovely local butchers!

Great place to work and shop!! Sadly this is bitter sweet for me, I have worked in the shop for just over a year now and loved it, but have been offered a new opportunity abroad which I feel I can’t pass up. The team is amazing, the meat is second to non and the specialty items such as the Italian pasta and Cambridge made kimchi are personal favorites of mine. I would urge anyone with butchery skills/qualifications to get in touch as my job will be vacant very soon .
