Poor service rude staff.
Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control and due to the change to Christmas I called as early as possible to cancel the turkey I had ordered for Christmas Eve as I have no guests now and I am by myself. This is COVID related no other reason. I was met from the onset with a tirade of abuse from the male staff there. I suggested he can sell my order as I’m giving him notice, however he refused and stated it was trust. If only I was not alone, I would more than happily collect a turkey for Christmas Day! No compromise to offer a breast only or something smaller. Just rude and arrogant, well sorry but tough! I can’t afford £50 for a turkey I no longer need. You should work on your customer service skills!

Friendly service with a smile. Great range of cheese on the deli counter and Al Wingate-Saul's beef is a delight to enjoy. The fillet just melts. And if you need something special for your Sunday breakfast, there's Dukeshill smoked bacon.

This is a top-class business offering excellent butchery, delicatessen, bread, cakes etc. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff make visits a pleasure.

Omg I moved to France 6 years ago and popped into Holebrooks for old times sake. We have just enjoyed the most delicious filet steak and have sirloin of beef to look forward to on Sunday. We'll done Al you and your team are still the best.

Dorset butchers selling quality produce and local products. A million years away from my home town where the local butcher has almost disappeared. Lovely to experience

Excellent produce but pathetic cold meat selection, can be busy on Saturdays

I'm a townie and shopped supermarkets all my life. Recently bought a cottage in Stur and thought I'd try local butchers. OMG the meats are off the scale! First tried the sausages for breakfast...amazing! Bought a steak for dinner today...even more amazing!! Al is a true legend. Love this place.
