John the Butcher

Been buying meat, sausage, pies and a few other bits the last few weeks from John the Butcher. Real nice people running this shop and had excellent service too, vac packing product to required quantity on request and generally very helpful. The product itself is excellent, far far better than that from the big chain supermarkets. Most of the product said to locally sourced and fresh rather than frozen.

Great to see local indipendent butcher that knows where their product comes from making a comeback to our local Exley shopping center. I'll be getting all my meat, sausage, pies and such from here in the future.

Always has good quality meat. Also other products. The streaky bacon is amazing. Large pork chops. Barnsley lamb chops. His sausages are brilliant. Chicken too. Friendly service from John and Adam.

Good old fashioned shop with great banter, this is how shops used to be and how shops should be, why go to supermarkets and buy bright red steak and anemic chicken? This is a shop full of great meat, sausage, bacon and fresh local produce staffed by guys who know thier craft and know their customers.
We changed the way we shop and shop local, shop better, better quality better end result when you cook it. I know i might sound like a paid for sponsored promotion but I think this is the way forward, keep on doing what you are doing guys
