Aberdyfi Butchers

24 Lamb burgers on barbecue all turned to pate/ mush a bit embarrassing considering we had a friend who is a butcher there who explaind the cost of probably adding an egg was too much a back up of beef burgers from the butchers in Bala saved the day, - a dissatisfied customer!

Whilst on holiday in Aberdovey last week we bought a whole welsh lamb from this butchers .The service was exceptional .The Lamb was cut and packed brilliantly . We have just had our first taste .Oh my goodness Welsh Lamb at its very best .Juicy flavoursome and so very tender .Will definitely be back ,Thank you !!

Truly the best lamb we have ever tasted.

Although the owner has a picture of Princess Charles and himself on the wall in his butchers shop, he felt it necessary to tell me that Prince Charles will be the next King of England, but not Wales. I felt his opinion was not required and if you feel the need to me rude about the Royal family, maybe don’t have a picture of them on your wall, fool! I’d advise any Royalist to avoid using this butchers in future, as it’s the last time I will step foot in there! There’s a great one, on the main high street in Machynlleth, which I’d recommend! God save the Queen!

Bought a leg of lamb and have to say it was the best joint I have ever had. Fantastic meat and great to know where it was sourced from. Would really recommend.

Top quality products if you're in the area go and treat yourself. Friendly staff at a good old traditional butchers.

Fantastic butchers spent the week in aberdovey and had very high quality steak chops welsh black beef bara brith from here all amazing you pay a lot more but its so worth it for taste and flavour
