F E Richards of Crickhowell

Whilst I wouldn't exactly say that I'm a carnivore - I have been a regular meat eater for 51 years. I can honestly say without doubt that the aged T-Bone steak I bought at Richards on Friday was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life. The taste the texture, together with the excellent information provenance from the butcher was totally amazing. I rarely get to Crickhowell, but when I do, a T-Bone steak will definitely be on my shopping list.

Amazing butchery! Went to get some Welsh Lamb cuts to get real quality taste as I was visiting Abergavenny last week with family. Go some amazing steaks and chops. The owner gave a packet of mint rub to go with it and the grilled meats turned out just amazing!

Outstanding butchers, outstanding quality, we bought Beef Kebabs that were absolutely delicious, we also bought sausages that were amazing, I would highly recommend this superb quality butchers. Set in the most beautiful location in Wales - Crickhowell high street, friendly and professional staff, fabulous food at incredible prices. I cannot wait to get back there for another shopping trip.

Walking by the window it caught our eye. Excellent meat well presented and when we asked, good sound advice how to cook what we bought whilst camping.

Service from Jason was friendly and seemed like he knew what he was selling very well.

Great butchers, top quality meat. Fab display of marinaded meats in window. Spotlessly clean, the man knows what he's doing. It's not cheap but you can't buy quality meat at supermarket prices. Get in there, you will purchase.

A top quality butchers where I purchased the most tasty steak I have ever had (no exaggeration). Very helpful friendly butchers also. Worth every penny.

Popped in to pick up a couple of things for dinner as we were passing through town. The quality and range is clearly outstanding! We wished we could have bought more but as we were camping in a heatwave, we just weren't able. The sausages and peri peri chicken skewers we did have were excellent.
