Smallfarms sources its beef and lamb locally and has an excellent selection. We buy fillet steaks as our weekly saturday night treat and they are always delicious. What is commendable is that Smallfarms has decided to do away with the use of plastic from its packaging. They are now using greaseproof paper, vegetable based containers and paper bags. I believe this is an additional cost for the business but what a fantastic initiative to take to reduce the use of plastic in this world.

Excellent meat served by excellent staff.

We should have shares in this place, as we get most of our meat from them and we eat a lot of meat. They couldn't be more helpful, and care about my food intolerances, even making me specifically designed sausages that I can eat. Their specials are smashing. It's definitely service with a smile.

Very unfriendly welcome from the shopkeeper, a smile or greeting would have been nice. Miserable man. We bought a couple of Scotch Eggs and a Pork Pie which he objected to cutting in half for us.
