Lovely little cafe with really pleasant, happy, friendly staff. The food is delicious, both savoury and sweet. Their cakes are fabulous, as is the quiche and scrambled egg. Don't want to recommend it too highly in case we can't get a seat!!

Nice little cafe with a great selection of cakes with a range of teas, coffees and soft drinks, they also do other plates, like sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
Service was quick and with a smile.
Basket of daily newspapers to read while visiting if wanted.
Only thing I'd say against it is that there isn't a lot of indoor seating and I don't believe there was a toilet, if there was I apologise.

Had a lovely lunch. It's not my normal stop off place for food when in Kendal, but today I was in a hurry. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone from open sandwiches and quiches to paninis and Jacket potatoes. We were served quickly and the food was tasty and value for money.

Great little place, a lovely warm welcome from entering, a friend and I had afternoon tea for two....it was excellent... well presented, great choice of sandwiches and cakes and the scones and clotted cream were amazing. Will definitely be going again.

Really friendly staff, great seats to people watch outside and the cream tea and lemon meringue pie proved to be both great options.

Lovely little cafe in Kendal. Friendly staff and quick service. Enormous selection of cakes, but the lunchtime specials were just that. Pork and chunky veg hot pot served with fine grains sourdough bread...only £7.95. Deeeelicious! Thank you!

Despite turning up 10 minutes before opening we were offered a table even though we were a party of 8. Food and service were excellent especially from Peter who served us who gave us local advice on where to cycle. We headed over to the Yorkshire Dales where the traffic was lighter and had a fantastic day out. Thanks Peter!
