Breakfast? you gotta go to union jack, such a welcoming staff, we were a group of 7 and the staff did all they can to accommodate us with social distancing in place, they looked after us very well in the 2 days we went there, the service is exceptional and food is absolutely tasty, service is fast and accommodated us with our needs as we had a little one with us. I would recommend to visit union jack cafe if you are in Kendal and experience the hospitality yourself. There is a parking right next to the cafe and 1 hr cost 1.20£. enjoy have fun. Tha k you union jack cafe staff for all you did.

Visited post-Lockdown so under covid restrictions, this cafe done an excellent job at adapting to a new normal, very pleasant staff despite witness to the odd ignorant fool, look forward to next visit to Kendal to get the Full Monty Breakfast- Definately a contender for best full English breakfast in the Lakes - Thankyou 🙌🏽🌞

Went for a late breakfast after checking this out the day before and on line. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Food was good and accommodated one member of our party who was vegetarian too. A lovely experience.

Decent price and lovely sausages.
Shame the big breakfast only has 1 rasher of bacon and no tomato, otherwise it would have been 5 stars all the way

Lovely breakfast and all six of us served very quickly. Price was completely on point 👍.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Between us we had the vegetarian breakfast, small English breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast, and they were all magnificent and rejuvenated us weary travellers wonderfully. Plenty of options offered for customisation (and a rare excellent poached egg, if that’s your thing), all very well cooked and portioned and the pot of tea for two was very generous - enough for three, at least! Clearly a very popular spot with the locals for breakfast on a weekend, with a friendly, cosy, traditional caff atmosphere.

Recommended to me by the Ski shop guys. Good call! Food was delicious. Very patriotic decor.
