What a special place, we stopped for a quick coffee and ended up staying so much longer than intended. Our 2yo loved exploring the flowers in the garden and running in the meadow. Cake was yummy too.

What a find. Lovely setting, wonderful flowers and excellent tea and cheese scones (not to mention the Jubilee trifle!). Lots of signs saying dogs aren’t welcome so can’t see why anyone complains.

Gorgeous place. Friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect for a morning cuppa and cake (or full English!) and a little meander around the gardens

Be warned: this is a dog-unfriendly place. Signs saying no dogs allowed in the garden, in the cafe, or anywhere on the site. Anywhere that is so dog-unfriendly in the heart of a tourist area where half of all tourists have dogs seems strange.
The cafe looks like a small school canteen with plastic tables and chairs located in a modern barn building.
Avoid.

A little favourite of mine ! Set amongst natural fields full of bee hives. You will find a lovely honest coffee shop /restaurant/shop with outdoor seating area. The staff are super friendly and very down to earth selling a range of homemade cakes and doorstep toast ! Just dont forget to buy and take home a pot of their delicious honey ! Today due to the covid situation we bought take our scones and had a picnic in the car ! Fab !

Very lovely spot for a bite to eat. Simple cafe menu, including soup of the day, sandwiches and toasties. Food excellent quality and good portions. Clean and friendly atmosphere visited in autumn but looks like they have a nice outdoor seating area which would be lovely in the summer. Clean toilets, with baby changing facilities and plenty of parking. Would visit again.
