Friendly greeting despite arriving 25 minutes before opening. It was a cool damp morning and the manager kindly served me to a coffee before opening time.
A strong filter coffee for £2.50.
I did notice a tempting selection of cakes and quite possibly pork pies.
I'll bear the latter in mind for future reference

Just recently moved to the village and started using this cafe. It's a lovely little cafe in this popular village location. Popular with locals and passing hikers, ramblers and cyclists. Very friendly staff and great food and drinks.

Really good food, but it's the little things that count in an experience. Waitress spilt a good amount of milk on the table and just left it for us to clean up with our napkins. Such a shame on an otherwise great experience.

Can't really give it a rating as yet, not stopped there. It always looks busy when I've passed, going to stop by on our weekly cycle ride.

Took a very long time to eat. Took a very long time to pay. Breakfast was tasty however elements of it were cold.

Good food, decent price. Can get overwhelmed when busy, long queues

Lovely cosy and friendly place to eat with great service and good food. Option to dine in or take out and they also accommodate some dietary requirements. Will definitely be going back soon :)

Friendly staff, good wholesome food. Their Victoria Sponge is out of this world. I'm a regular and feel like family when I go there. Can't wait for the Cafe to reopen to sit down meals.
