Freckles

I was on a hike from Kegworth to Leicester so this was a welcome stop. If I had more time I would’ve sat inside as the interior design was amazing.

Lovley coffee. Friendly staff. Menu looked nice. Didnt have food this time.

Sat an front of cafe on a very comfy sofa watching the traffic go by listening to jolly background music. Cup tea and a hummingbird cake. Divine. The young girl served me and was very polite and proffesional. A good bonus is the fresh ground coffee and they accept bank cards. Other shops in town only take cash. Bit odd and annoying when you dont carry cash or have a bank card for cashpoint. I will be returning in a month or two for a Bigger nosh up. Love it here. Wish i has a sofa placed like this to oggle at the world outside while i sip tea

I've visited Freckles on a couple of occasions now, and every time the food and coffee have been so nice, and the service so quick and friendly! I'm always excited for my next visit!

The best cheese straws I've ever eaten!

Visited here yesterday after going for a walk nearby to stop in for a drink and cake. It's such a beautiful little cafe! The interior is so clean and inviting. The lady who served us was so friendly and made us feel right at home. I had a rolo brownie which was delicious as well as a strawberry milkshake which was equally as tasty! My OH had a cappuccino which he said was amazing. There's also a gorgeous little gift shop which we had a browse round afterwards and got a few gifts for Christmas. Overall it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and would like a really enjoyable cafe experience!
