We googled eating places near South Lakes Safari and the Chocolate Room was well reviewed so we decided to eat there for lunch. Lovely food and the sweets were amazing 🙂 friendly staff too 🙂

Had a lovely latte. Nice bacon bun on nice bread. Bought a piece of gingerbread, lovely and light with nice spices. Carrott cake was lovely with icing and nuts on top. Staff friendly.

Some of the best food I've ever had. Never disappoints. Well worth a visit. The Christmas lunch menu was all delicious!Brunch is also the best around!

Hired upstairs for a birthday event in the evening. Absolutely incredible food. Has to be up there as one of, if not THE, best places in the area. Huge credit to the chef and staff.

What a lovely surprise this place is. I thought it was a little average cafe but it's way more than that. Nicely decorated and a homely feel with amazing food. I'd expect this kind of food in a high end restaurant rather than a little cafe in Dalton. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. 10/10 from me....
