Home cooked food is great, staff great. Their signature dish is meat and potatoe pie, with mushy peas, chips, gravy, red cabbage or beatroot.!!
The best in Nelson. Good variety. Quiet.

The staff and the customers at this cafe are ordinary bog standard type people. The same with everything on their menu.

It's closed permanently the best cafe in Nelson and its no more. Very sad 😔 it was an amazing place

Used to love the meat and potato pie but they changed the recipie and its not as good as it used to be. Still a lovely little cafe and is usually quiet even when full. I love it.

Calm, quiet not loud bangs if you have noise sensitivities. Friendly team. Definitely a place worthy of many visits.

Evey visit I had here I've never experienced any problems.
A clean and well run place and lovely staff.

This is the best cafe in Nelson and the staff are very nice polite and make you feel welcome. as soon as you walk in and many is the nicest person I have ever met
