Windmill Cafe

Polite staff but very poor food service. Each meal I have ordered here serve incredibly low portions, I have even paid extra for more food yet the portion was still low. An example of what I mean is a large omellete with bacon and cheese costs £5 and is made with 3 eggs which shouldn't be the case however when you ask for and extra 2 eggs to make it a total of 5 for an additional £1.50 to make it a total of £6.50 you still can't taste the cheese and struggle to find any bacon due to the one rashion they put in. If you can avoid this place, and eat elsewhere I would advise it however if you do end up eating here the staff are polite and the place is clean and the food taste isn't bad.

Very clean and well organised, staff very friendly.

Food was amazing, both had jacket potato and the portions were very good.

The chilli con carne was homebase cooked and full of flavor.

If in Cheshunt, we'll definitely be coming back here.

Food and staff are very nice, and nice inside. But all 5 times I have been here me (and the people I go with) have ended up ill, whether this be sickness or diarrhoea. I don’t think it’s food hygiene that’s an issue, I think the food is just so so greasy (even for a cafe) that if you aren’t used to that chances are you won’t feel great after! A shame as it is a lovely little cafe, just wish the food wasn’t so oily

Been coming here for 15 years, great staff- very friendly! Food always freshly cooked and very reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend :)

We visit the area every few months to visit family and always make sure we have breakfast at the Windmill. Food is quick, tasty and fairly priced. Service is top notch always friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Definitely reccomend.

Lovely friendly staff who are always very attentive and helpful. Lovely meals which can be adapted to meet any personal taste or dietary requirements. Generous portions always well presented.Amazing value roast dinners and breakfast sets

Lovely place to eat very clean and pleasantly cool really good menu the staff are lovely have tried a few thing on the menu and all food excellent with faultless service if I lived nearer I would eat there every day can't recomend highly enough and all food well priced thank you windmill cafe 👍😊.

Went for lunch with a friend. Food was lovely. Staff was even better. Ebru looked after us and was lovely. We also got to meet a blond girl (started 3days ago) and she was very nice too. Manager was very professional and friendly as well.Defo coming back!
