i’ve just been in for a bacon, sausage, onion & cheese baguette with brown sauce and pepper it was honestly the best thing i’ve ever had. will be coming again

Cash only. So order food when starving, present card to pay and then told no cards, only cash. In this day in age, and at a time where places are refusing to accept cash and saying cards only, they say no cards only cash. Drives me absolutely bonkers. Aside to that, one female member of staff rushed off her feet, spoke poor english, didn't bring the drinks that were paid for, and then our ommlettes arrived and couldn't have been more plain and boring looking. Side salad was a gesture of lettuce and cucumber unlovingly thrown on the plate. Will never return. Judging by the other review made today, looks like they were having a bad day.

Food was greasy, but the coffee was good. A customer was smoking outside which was blowing inside, making my daughter cough. I asked to shut the door and they said no as they didnt want to get hot in the kitchen. They then took away out half finished food, which I had to stop. Not welcoming, or worth revisiting.

Not impressed at all - went in this morning, no soya milk or oat milk, (but I understand that a lot of places don’t provide these), what I don’t understand, is the snappy attitude when I asked for a glass of water! I was given it, it was hot, I told the guy and he snatched it off me, tutted and gave me another warm one! My friend went in to order food, he was extremely rude to her, snapped that they don’t take card, and then came out, snatched the tap water off our table, tutted again and shook his head at us! So rude!
Will not be returning 😞

Chose one of the set breakfast options. Good portion of food served nice and hot promptly. Pleasant staff.

This is a basic British cafe. Does what it says on the tin. Sadly the quality of the food is low but if you want a farm house type breakfast you'll pay alot more as its reasonably priced

Rude, unhelpful staff, immediately put off ever going back. Also very strange for any sort of reputable business to only take cash in 2022…
