Astalet Cafe

Good English breakfast.
Took a little while to come but worth the wait.
But why are all cafes ripping you on the coffee. £2.50 for a Americano
Bit steep in a builders cafe.

"Not the best breakfast in town"

Kinda had high hopes for this cafe, after being to almost all the others in Aldershot for a full English at Astalet was left to last based on the 5stars reviews, unfortunately this breakfast was not the best in town. Very over priced for cheap teasing food. Won't go back again for breakfast but may try some of the lunch bits one day.
Gave 3 stars because the staff seemed really nice and the place was nice and clean.

I love this place. I've popped in a few times before football up the road. I ordered a set breakfast, no mushrooms. "Extra sausage?" was the immediate offer, which is nice. Not all places allow substitutions, let alone offer them unprompted.

It's a caff. It knows what it is. The food is good, the prices are honest, and the hardworking, cheerful staff do the simple things well.

Had the Menemen Turkish scrambled eggs with tomatoes, peppers and onions and it was lovely. Good sized portion with crusty bread on the side. Coffee was really tasty as well. Friendly staff and clean. Would recommend.

Stopped here for brunch recently, very good.

As a tourist, this Café seems pretty nice to eat a typical English breakfast. Many variants are available and you can even customise your own breakfast. The place is pretty busy but the turnover looks fast so I easily found a place to sit down. Great experience !

This is our local go to cafe for a good hearty breakfast. Food is always good. Definitely recommend.

Had one of the breakfast choices, big plate, big meal, great black pudding, lots to eat, I would like a slightly better quality sausage, but it was cooked just right. Worth another visit.
