Beautiful setting and a lovely breakfast, thoroughly recommend the pancakes! Special mention for the lovely lady who saw my partner bringing my medication in from the car and without hesitation or even us asking she brought a jug of water over so I could take them. Excellent service 10/10

This was our first visit on a busy Sunday for lunch. It is a lovely location and we sat indoors as there were no free tables with shade in the garden.

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad (£10.95). I was disappointed with the portion size, a miserly helping of lettuce, and the chicken was a few slices of what looked like sliced chicken from a packet and had been fried/grilled to give it a bit of colour but had dried it out. The anchovies were the salted variety rather than marinated and are too strong for a salad. The croutons were soft and greasy. I told the waitress that I wasn’t happy and she rather grudgingly took the plate back to the kitchen and returned with additional slices of chicken and a little more lettuce. When I paid the bill and commented to another member of staff about my dissatisfaction, the waitress who had served us told me I had received the correct portion size. I had a chicken Caesar salad at a cafe in Lee-on-the-Solent last week and it was a more generous portion size for a similar price and contained better quality ingredients.

What saddened me the most was the attitude of the staff making me feel that I was being unreasonable.

My husband had ham, egg and chips and he was happy with his meal although I expected the ham to be hand carved rather than from a packet.

Good, but a bit pricy if you want something little. Too much sweet BBQ sauce on the hunters chicken.

The calamari is amazing! Thought for the price it was a starter but plenty for a meal on its own. Delicious, can't wait to go back. Staff were accommodating to mum who is gluten free. Thanks

Absolutely beautiful place on the solent.
Food is amazing, albeit a little on the pricy side. Dog friendly and very helpful and friendly staff.
There is a car park, but you do have to pay.

Great café, gorgeous views of the sea with and a nice little terrace for the summer. Good menu that includes children's portions and vegetarian (not sure about others as didn’t look). Food was delicious and generous portions, and staff is very friendly and professional. Also a great selection of hot and cold drinks.

Just had a delicious breakfast in this delightful place. Service was so friendly and the food was home cooked to perfection. Massive portion of eggs, bacon and sausages with all the required extras.
Cannot fault them and will happily return.
