Robinswood Hill Cafe

Good coffee the service is good and the place is clean, snacks are a bit expensive but not ridiculous, would have been 5 stars but I don't like businesses that aggressively discourage the use of cash it is legal tender and it should be up to the Customer what is a preferable payment method they do not carry a float in the till to discourage this, they will accept payment in cash but only if you have the correct change not always convenient,and the staff member got annoyed when questioned about it (face went bright red but stayed professional) its my personal gripe but no reflection on the place generally, I still use the place but it always irritates me, I hope this helps 😊

Tried to get a sandwich but too hot to make one?!!! Only ice cream or cake. Waste of time. Last week it shut at 2pm

Went with my daughter.we both had latte coffee. It was very strong. Neither of us could drink it.

Delicious Sausage roll, Cheese & Bacon pastry and Hot Chocolate!

I just want to say I have just had a lovely chicken club sandwich and my twin boys had the sausage roll.. the food was incredible, we were welcomed with a smile and the whole cafe looks fresh and well kept. Toilet facilities are good to and reasonably priced.. Best place as you have hill right next door.!

Just been in whilst walking the dog as love Ethical Addictions coffee. Seemingly no queueing system and gentleman on counter had no awareness of who had arrived first. After two people who arrived following me were served first, I left without purchasing. Dining area was very dirty, with all tables covered with used items and lots of food on floor. No tables were cleared in the 10 mins I stood waiting. Sorry, I so wanted this place to be great and to have found a local independent I could use, but won't be going back again.
