Service was pretty fast apart from that it was very poor! Me and my husband went here with a friend for breakfast a few weeks ago after seeing all the positive reviews on google and trip advisor. We ordered 2 English breakfasts and 1 french toast with bacon. The server was miserable and not helpful at all (even though we were the only people in there!). The food came out pretty quick but some of it was under cooked, the sausages were raw in the middle and so were the mushrooms.Although the eggs, bacon and french toast was overcooked and burnt. Also it advertised home made baked beans and when they were served they were definitely tinned! We had two pots of tea and the filter must have been loose or broken as it didn't stop the loose leaf coming through to the cup and the latte i had was very bitter and strong, i do like strong coffee but not when i order a latte and not when its very bitter. The last problem was the table we were given it was so small we had to put our drinks and teapot on a chair so there was enough room for three plates. We couldn't move as all the tables were the same inside very small tables with 4 chairs around them when they are only suitable for two people max. My friend did contact the restaurant manager/ owner to voice these problems before we left a bad review and after speaking on the phone with them he was told to email so he did but it was ignored and we have not heard back from them at all.

Excellent small cafe, hidden in a courtyard. Food is not high end, but it is well prepared and fresh. The prices are more than reasonable, it is value for money. House wines are fine. Recommended.

Had an incredibly tasty, thoroughly enjoyable breakfast here. The coffee was a dream, the portion sizes were perfect and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients used. The lady who served us was lovely as well. For the price I think this was by some way the best breakfast I’ve had! Can’t recommend highly enough!!!

I came in here for an early dinner last Friday, quite by chance. I'm so glad I did. This place is what Cafe Rouge, Brasserie Blanc etc should aspire to be. Delicious food (I had the sauteed asparagus/duck egg, then rump steak, then Eton Mess) and delightful service. Prices unbelievably fair for such a prime location, the steak especially. Only caveat - if you're salt-sensitive maybe mention it when ordering. But overall highly recommended .

Overpriced menu for coffee, hot chocolate and other non alcoholic beverages. But they seem to be pretty popular for alcoholic drinks during their happy hour. There were lots of reservations during the happy hour. Kind staff though, quite accomodating and friendly. Just overpriced for simple things which was a bittersweet feeling given the staff was friendly.

As always the food and service was excellent. The experience was ruined by a group of people who were very loud and talked over each other, making it difficult to hear the porson sat next to me. They slso bought there dachshund in wet ith them and sat it on there lap at the table.
Overall food and services 4/5*
