Revetment Cafe

Blown away by the quality of the full English breakfast and the service. Loads of room to eat in peace, sensible disposable cutlery etc, and decent price. This isn't a cheap greasy spoon affair, but a genuinely interesting alternative to other places. The fact we could watch the aircraft come and go was a real bonus. Will go again.

What a find! We used to go to the Squadron bar years ago and loved it and have been driving past watching the renovations very curious to see what's going on... Today we got answers! Fantastic hidden gem cafe in a marquee, with the kind of furniture collected from every charity shop and house clearance shop you've ever been to! Real pride in their excellent ingredients, personal lovely service, and planes landing round you! The Squadron itself is going to be run by the same people for fine dining, I can't wait to give it a go but in the mean time I can't wait for my next sausage and egg sandwich and chat

Fantastic food and service each and every time we’ve visited. My car Club (Abarth Club Essex), visit the Revetments Cafe on a regular basis and have never had a experience.
The staff are incredibly friendly and it’s also great when they recognise you too.
Highly recommend the visit.
