You know it's a good lunch place when the line is outside the door at 12:30pm. Great local place - everything made fresh to order. 1/2 the price of M&S at the station. Line sometimes slowed down by all the foreign language students (from the languages schools around the corner) - whos' grasp on English is sometimes poor. True local's place.

I come here at least 3 times a week for their sandwiches/baguettes. Always good quality fresh ingredients. Friendliest staff. Large sized sandwich that always fills me right up and for the price of 2-3 quid its great value.

Quite possibly the friendliest staff i have come across in any cafe. Can't do enough for you and after returning a couple of times already knew our preferences.

The Full English breakfast is very good at 5.95, 2 quality sausages always a bonus. Includes toast and coffee. Not greasy, bacon just three right thickness and cooked well. My new favourite Friday lunch after Newhills down the road has shut down.

Really awesome place which stays for its name. Joy to visit!

Much recommended for all travelers as it is super cheap and super tasty and fresh.

Friendly staff made me cool big sandwich with falafel, hummus and veggies, I chose a a drink as well and paid less than 4 £.

Note: breakfast and lunch place, I believe they close quite early

Personal recommendation:
it is a small place to sit so you might prefer to take it as a takeaway and eat it in botanic garden which is around the corner.

Absolutely fantastic cafe. The guy serving was delightful. Very friendly. Sausage and bacon jumbo roll purchased is a complete winner . Very tasty and 2 big lattes at a very good cost 👍🏼

Looking to get some brekkie when we came across this little gem. Sausage and bacon baguette with a large latte, along with a warm friendly welcome by the owner. 👍🏻 Breakfast was amazingly good and reasonably priced. Defo go again if travelling that way again!
