Phoebes Canterbury

Wow! Great find for a gorgeous early breakfast after dropping in the car for a service. With partner plus dog, we were made very welcome, and dogs are treated royally, too.
Lovely old building, with very nice terrace, great cakes and super range of food. Car parking a very short walk away. Will be back soon!

I've reviewed before and my opinion hasn't changed ! Lovely scones (+ jam and cream) and good coffee at a good price. Plus, we enjoy the friendliness of this family cafe, very relaxed. Thanks again to Lesley and colleagues.

I ended up here without looking it up- was just walking down the street and thought that it looked like a nice place for a coffee. When I came in though, the daily special listed on the board, a Mediterranean vegetable tart caught my eye. Absolutely fantastic. And the coffee was great too.

Had lunch today for the first time, the Brie & Grape BAGETTE, salad garnish with crisps LOVELY & WORTH THE MONEY !

Fresh food, EXCELLENT Service, Staff, will be going again.

We found this lovely place while we were actually looking for something else. We were immediately charmed. The lunch that was served was so good that we returned the next day for breakfast. Bought meals were above our expectations. No comments on the service.

Great food and service. This is our first visit to Canterbury and phoebes was the first cafe we stopped in. We are not disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. We plan on visiting again for the cake or scones as they looked amazing! They are also dog friendly.

We loved our visit to Phoebe’s! The service was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed an amazing walnut and coffee cake and great coffee - wholeheartedly recommended!

13/11/21- Another lovely lunch with with my daughter today. We’re always made to feel very welcome and the staff and service is always excellent. Loving the homemade cakes.

13/04/21- Lovely lunch at Phoebes. Good range on menu, large sandwiches/baguette/panini selection. Salads, omelette and jacket potato’s and breakfast menu before 11.30. All reasonably priced.

Delicious homemade cakes, perfect with my Americano. Fantastic customer service and the owner was lovely.

14/04/21- My 7 year old daughter was so happy with yesterday’s visit, she insisted we came back again today. The food and service is excellent again and the space is Covid secure with a lovely sun trap court yard. Lots of space and social distance with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Highly recommended, well worth a visit.
