Cafe Alfresco

Really nice cafe on Victoria Street - midway between St Albans City station and the city centre.

Fairly small, very clean and family run (I assume) - I much prefer to support independent places. Food and coffee is good quality, served quickly and reasonably priced. Haven’t tried the all day breakfast yet but I’m tempted.

Disabled toilet is a great touch and always friendly service too. Recommended.

Cafe Alfresco is a small cafe located in St Albans.
It’s a nice place that’s feels warm and relaxing.
It has a nice indoor seating area and a covered outdoor area that’s great to watch the world go by.

Cafe Alfresco offers everything from breakfast brunch lunch and dinner.
The menu is a mix of traditional English cuisine and international cuisine.
The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
The staff and service was also good.
A nice place to visit for a coffee or food.

The food never stays around for too long to take a photo to review. It's simply excellent! Couldn't fault this place. We come around on average 2-3 times a week!

Lovely place, the staff is very friendly and food arrived very quickly.
Only issue I had was the food I request with the DIY option, there were missing eggs and tomato, otherwise food was good.

First time coming here, food was served hot and quickly with little to no wait time and it was delicious. Really good environment, family friendly, and polite staff. 100% coming back here again.

Great Chai and friendly service :) ill have to come back for food after lockdown!

Edit: amazing! We got delivery breakfast and the portions were great. The food arrived quickly and the coffees were delicious too. 10/10 recommended :)
