Came here with my partner to kill a few hours before catching a bus. TOTALLY worth it. Relaxed, fun and gorgeous trip along the canal. Quentin made sure to give us great entertainment throughout the journey and make the ride exciting. We even got to enjoy our espresso martinis on the boat during the trip. Totally recommended.

We booked our trip on Saturday 2nd July and have to say it was very informative and relaxing the guide was called Marcus and gave us just enough information to keep us interested and not so much that we glazed over. We'll done Marcus you're a star. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and one I would recommend to anyone.

An amazingly unique experience with personable and varied character of staff!

I've had the opportunity to do two treks in less than a year with the Mooring team. Each one uniquely different but simultaneously fun, relaxing, and informative. What a way to see and learn more about Canterbury than up and down the Stour River!

The cafe is the real added bonus, a hidden gem with great coffees, cakes, and cocktails (you can even take drinks on the boat). Ran by friendly and engaging staff (shout out to Mike, Louise, and Bradley)!

We visited this place because we were taking the river tour and the tickets are sold inside the cafe.
While waiting for our boat to get ready, we had coffee and snacks.
It's an excellent place to chill out. The coffee was great.

A nice little cafe with good coffee and hot chocolate. Their main business apart from the cafe is to take you on river punting for a fee which is pretty reasonable but the route is nothing to speak of; well at least not the upstream. Downstream route maybe be more interesting which goes through a small part of the city. The punters, however, are an interesting lot and will keep you thoroughly entertained with their talks about the city and it's past. Go here when you have some time to spare on your hands.

Really nice coffee i have to say. The team here are also the punters for the punt boats. Really good staff and up for a chat. The cafe has some really nice old furnishing features ie old gramophone and piano
There is o
Also a nice little balcony with a sofa to look out on the punts that are passing you by. Well worth the coffee as well
