Jovanni's Cafe

For a small out of the way cafe it's As Good as It Gets. The staff are friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, the food is generous , well-presented and reasonably priced. I wish they would prohibit phones. It gets oppressive if people are telling into phones as it is only small.

We're having a safari food day, all three meals in different places in Hampton Hill High St, starting with breakfast at Jovanni's. I had the 'Full English', my wife going for the smaller 'set breakfast' and after a short while a gorgeous, generous plate of loveliness appeared. I used to be a bit of an aficionado of the 'greasy spoon' breakfast, but this was a significant step above with beautifully cooked sausage, bacon, and mushrooms and lovely, slippery eggs as well as beans and hash browns. The 'two toast' that accompanied were almost a step too far (especially as I was gifted most of my wife's mushrooms too) but this was far too nice to leave even the smallest scrap.
We waddled out of there completely stuffed, a brilliant breakfast.

Stumbled across this little cafe. As others have mentioned, the staff were friendly and the food excellent value. There were lots of regulars too!

An excellent cafe with an extremely accommodating host in Jovanni. He let me bring my bike in and nursed a very cold / wet / tired cyclist back to health with some (free) honey and lemon tea. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Excellent local cafe. Friendly staff and latge variety of good down to earth food all at a reasonable price. Love this place. Thoroughly recommended.
