Was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast with good reviews, we were originally going to another cafe but luckily we decided to try this little gem!

We were warmly greeted and seated quickly (given we are in the midst of COVID19). We were given paper menus and all the tables were socially distance well with a track and trace QR code on the door too. It was really well protected and safe for the patrons of the cafe.

Our order was taken and we were served an amazing fresh breakfast with a tea each, for me it was a perfect portion (not too much and not too little) and filled me up. Refills were free which was great value given that they came free with our breakfast. The food is fresh and tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian to fellow veggies or those wanting a leaner option.

The hostesses were all friendly and lovely people, from a little chat when ordering to a joke when paying, it made this little cafe pop out and make it feel more like you were at a friends or family members kitchen for brekkie. I only have praise for the ladies (didn’t see any men but if there was them too).

Cost was shockingly low and when we were presented with the bill I thought something was missed off but I was told nope that’s all it is, I will be going back for all the reasons listed above. Plus at this price it makes it hard to even make my own brekkie for less.

Highly recommend this to all and remember to tip and support these business in these times, they are going above and beyond to keep us safe.

Huge thanks to all of the hostesses (and hosts)!

Absolutely love it here. So much to choose from on the menu, always packed in there. The staff are so lovely and can adapt your order if you fancy something a little off menu. Great for all, adults and children. My kids Absolutely love it to, they come every week with their friends.

So happy to see some interesting vegan options on the menu... The vegan breakfast & vegan club chick'n sandwich were absolutely delicious... packed with goodness & wonderful flavours... Who said that vegan food is boring? The Tea Cosy team will prove you wrong! ;) Great coffees too!
It's quite noisy when busy, as the tables are quite close to each other.

A well established family cafe. Food is good and well-priced. Service is friendly and helpful. It’s often busy in there as it’s so popular . From seniors to young families and everything in between. My “go to” cafe. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to visit. Food and service always been good. The only slight negative is the tables are too close together so it's always a squeeze in and out.

Really great place for a lunch/coffee catch-up! Food and service are always good and babies well catered for too.

Breakfast is so lovely, staff are attentive and helpful. But it's so loud and echoey it ruins the vibe a bit, there were several times the coffee machine was being used or another conversation was occurring that we had to stop ours as we could not hear each other, just made it slightly uncomfortable. Very gutted as like I say staff are lovely and the food is nice, May benefit from some sound proofing!

Had very good service but we did go in at a time when they were not busy. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and good quality breakfast. (See photo) Would go there again. Only issue was they didn’t have much of a range of cakes for the missus.
