The Navigator

The food here is over priced, which is somewhat to be expected with having a captive audience at the airport. However, also very poor quality. The ingredients used are the cheapest possible options and really a poor attempt. The wine was also cheap and awful. I left it.

We ordered the ‘mezze’ which was a very sorry looking plate of food pictured below, the ‘focaccia’ just being toasted bread and very small portion.

The nachos we paid extra for ‘bbq chicken’ which was chopped up plain value chicken with some bbq sauce squeezed on top. No sour cream. Salsa which was borderline just ketchup (not Chucky tomato pieces)

This place should be closed down and replaced with something else. Even a place without much hot food options like a Pret would be amazing. Horrid food.

Won’t be eating there again anymore and will instead get a sandwich from WHSmith (which still aren’t great) if hungry until get to our destination

What a soulless, expensive and underwhelming experience this was. More than half the menu was not available due to ‘delivery shortages’. Expensive and undercooked food. Appreciate that it is a captive market however there are no excuses for charges those prices and then serving up food of such poor quality. It thoroughly deserves the low rating it has received.

This airport "pub" doesn't deserve the bad rep. They may have had a period of poor service during lockdown, but in my 4 or 5 visits here over the years I've recieved decent food (better than expected in an airport), nice beer, clean environment and friendly staff. They're expensive but not ridiculous, what do you expect in one of the smallest international charter airports in Europe?

I still hate queuing for the bar though 😂

What a joke this place is. Arrived to find that they weren’t selling food, a common occurrence if not many flights are due to depart apparently. But there was no notice before you passed through security. So, we tried to order a coffee…no hot drinks either! What’s the point in this place? Everybody just went next door to WH Smith and sat in the untidy and lifeless Navigator with a sandwich.

All topped off by the rude barman.

Pointless waste of space (so was the pub)!

Awful. Arrived to the airport 2 hours early so we could have breakfast before our flight. Paid for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks. After 40 minutes of watching people who arrived after us eating, our gate opened so my partner went and spoke to a (very rude) older male waiter who didn't seem to care. Our gate then closed so we went and asked for a refund. (After getting on the plane and checking what we were refunded it was only the drinks and not the food so we were out of pocket and had wasted our time) . The waiter told us our food had gone to another table which was empty. All in all a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend at all. Customer service is shocking and non existent! Avoid.

Absolute s*** show! No staff, several dirty tables. Ordered drinks via app, served and ask if we could wait at the bar to collect them. London prices with next to no service. Captive ordnance ? Hmmm!

The food is way overpriced and bad quality.

I ordered nachos which isn't even a proper dish and yet what I received was just awful. Tiny amount of cheese, no sour cream and when I asked if I could have some, the lady was super unhelpful and said they don't serve that with nachos... Nachos itself felt old, and overall very disappointing.

Staff is unfriendly, doesn't sense that something is wrong with the food and instead of double checking with a guest, behaves mockingly towards them.

I had my worst burger ever. Chorizo was burned, burger itself was very poor quality meat, cheese wasn't melted and was cold. Really awful experience. Fortunately, I ordered it in a naked version, so I got some veggies.
