I have walked past this place many times without going in and it always has plenty of people. Went with friends for a weekday brunch. Nice, friendly staff. No problem ordering gluten free. Will definitely be going again.

Every Friday morning for the last 2 years I came here for my coffee and breakfast - I went inside today and the 2 seater tables were busy, there was 5 free 4 seater tables- yes 5 ! and it’s never a problem for me to normally sit at one, the waitress wanted me to sit on a 2 seater - but being a lady on her own I didn’t feel comfortable sitting very close next to groups of men - I asked to sit on the table in the corner, which has never ever been a problem - the waitress remained behind the till - her face dropped she looked very put out and said if it gets busy you will Need to move - felt very embarrassed and walked straight out ! To add I’m literally 30 min in there and it wasn’t peak time so I don’t understand why there a need to be treated this way.
It’s a shame as I love to support local business but having been made to feel that way I won’t be going back 👎

Had a bacon baguette which was about 4 inches long and an inch wide with one rasher of bacon in it. The baguette was stale and tasted awful and I paid £6 for the privilege of it. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Had breakfast here with a friend on a Saturday morning before Christmas. It was excellent. Perfectly cooked full English breakfast (with mushroom and tomato delete at my request :-) ), freshly squeezed apple juice and a cappuccino. Excellent food. Good friendly service. Clean and welcoming interior. Thoroughly recommend.

Great local cafe come Bistro! Great decor that invites you in and makes you want to stay a while..... i.e. cosy! Staff are attentive and friendly - the cafe was quite busy when we stopped by for lunch, but our drinks arrived quickly, followed a short while later by our food. I ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast, which was great. The scrambled eggs were spot on, and the portion sizes just right! Coffee was great as well. My wife went for the pancakes and bacon, which looked delicious. All in all, a perfect local spot for a breakfast or brunch etc.

Really good. We stopped here for breakfast, the food was really good and tasty, the coffees/orange juice came at the same time as the food, the food did come quiet quick, but a little wait for drinks. But don't let that put you off. It is worth a visit. The orange juice was really good. The decor was nice and the place was very clean. The staff were very friendly.

First timer! I visited today at 11:30 as I have seen this place become fairly busy during the day. The cafe was clean, tidy and I thought it was well decorated. Even though it wasn't the warmest of days I felt the atmosphere inside had it's own warmth/vibe. The service was fairly fast. The food was tasty and I really liked the presentation of the English breakfast! The coffee was nice and strong as well, not watery more creamy. Overall, I rate this highly as a cafe. I would recommend to friends and family. I will be back soon :) I'll take pictures next time.

As promised, here's a picture of the traditional English breakfast. It was very nice and highly recommended. The coffee is nice and strong too!
