This is such a lovely cafe and Ulga is super friendly. I like to come here to work sometimes but won't be going back after an awful experience today. The owner is unbelievably rude! I asked what was in the green smoothie and was told to look in the menu! I can only put that down to laziness or ignorance - not great either way. I was then interrupted during a work Skype call to be abruptly informed that the cafe was going to close in 20 mins. The wifi then stopped working - it was clearly switched off intentionally to make me leave. Unbelievable! Such a shame as the cafe has real potential but clearly the owner has no idea how to treat customers or build a business.

My first and only visit yesterday to the B-Fit café was not a good one. I was wanting some lunch. The cafe was very empty at 1.30pm. I picked up the clipboard with the menu on, and saw there was a range of baked potatoes listed. I went to the counter and asked for a baked potato. "We don't have any baked potatoes" was the reply. I asked if I was looking at the wrong menu, ie whether the breakfast menu or main menu.

I looked again at the menu and saw there was a range of filled omelettes at £5.20 each. I asked what the omelettes came with. Some misunderstanding as the staff member started explaining the fillings. No, I said, I meant are the omelettes accompanied by chips or by a salad. Indignantly, the staff member said "we are healthy, we don't do chips" (neither, it seems do they actually do baked potatoes !) But I managed to establish that the omelettes at £5.20 came on their own.

I suggested that £5.20 for just an omelette, on its own, was rather exorbitant "But we use organic eggs", they said proudly. I said I thought they were overcharging, and I said I would go and try Gonuls instead. "Have a nice day" came the heavily sarcastic reply from the two women as I left.

Not a good experience, especially when laced with bad attitude from the staff.

20th December - I have just seen the reply from the owner, and it's appallingly rude: "there is no excuse for clients to visit our premise and step out of the line and making other clients feel uncomfortable". What "other clients" ? The place was empty ! And what a bloody cheek ! Clearly this place is one that thrives on the staff being rude and offensive to its customers, like that famous Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown !

DON'T TOUCH IT WITH A BARGEPOLE !

It is wonderful to have a cafe like B-Fit in the neighbourhood. It is a comfortable space, clean with a very friendly staff. The food is also very good and a nice healthy/tasty change from other cafes in the area. Nice variety of baked goods, fresh juices and hot drinks. And a pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy coffee or meals with friends.

We've also used B-Fit in the past to cater an event and Monica (the owner) did a really great job. Everything looked and tasted good.

Lovely decoration with excellent and perfectly friendly staff. Quick service. The place hiding in a quiet area. And the coffee what they serve is always beautiful and super delicious. Totally recommend to everyone who want a nice coffee and relax.

It looks like a lovely café, and it is, but the service was SUPER slow both times I've gone there for breakfast (took 30 mins to make an omelette and the place was pretty quiet) and £25 was pretty expensive for 2 orange juices, a cappucino, a mediocre omelette (with nothing else on the plate, not even toast) and a granola yoghut so I won't be returning.
