HalfWay Cafe

I called here this morning to have breakfast. Immediately realised it was under new management. A lot of staff behind the counter. I ordered a cheese and onion omelette chips and a coffee and to be honest I nearly fell through the floor when I was charged £9.90. Maybe I'm just a little out of touch on pricing but that seemed over the top. Omelette was not too bad but the chips were undercooked and hard in the Middle the coffee was ok. However the saving grace was the quality of the service. The waitress was attentive and courteous.

I had mushroom omelette, chips and beans, hubby had the builders breakfast.
Large portions, all hot and delicious with a big mug of tea.

Best cafe in the area. By an absolute mile too.
They offer great food and generous portions. I have been coming here for almost 10 years now, I di go to others and I find their sandwiches compared to here stinjy.
It's worth every penny here.

A super cafe. The owner is incredibly gracious and makes you feel very welcome. Service is always with a friendly smile and nothing is too much trouble. The portions are very generous and the price is exceptional for the quality. The chef knows his stuff and makes it look easy, I've still yet to try so many items. Have to try their Spaghetti Bolognese and burgers still. This is how you run a cafe.

Can't fault the place! Amazing quality food and service 👍 always go here when we need yummy cafe grub.

Helen and I regularly visit here, it's one of the nicest cafes around and fortunately for us it's right on our doorstep!

It changed hands a few months ago and initially we were worried that the quality might suffer, but in fact the opposite has happened with some added items expanding the menu. A competitor recently moved in up the road and charges twice the cost of the Halfway Cafe for exactly the same quality, which to me sums up just how good value the Halfway Cafe is.

Just a quick nod to the staff too, from top to bottom they are a real happy and friendly bunch, we thoroughly recommend this place in every way!

Cute little cafe, staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is great quality and the service is excellent :)
