Beautiful decorated café in Shoreham. My favorite place to hang out when I am in the area. Lovely to sit inside and outside. Lots to explore in the backyard with a vintage shop and beautiful seating area. Friendly staff, lovely cakes and coffee. See you again soon! Greetings from Germany, Christina 🥰

When I last went about a year ago, the food was interesting and delicious. At lunch time yesterday my girlfriend had to settle for third choice; the only main on offer was Frittata. They hadn't made quiche or other options.
Having looked at my dozen Frittata recipes the ingredients are vegetables, cheese, maybe bacon, salt, pepper and a lot of EGGS.
Our Frittata was at least 60% BREAD, the vegetables, other than potato were almost non existent, couldn't taste any cheese and no pepper. It had a strange taste. We should have taken it back and asked for a refund. I will not be recommending the Artisan in the future.

Last time we went was meant to be open. No notice on door to say was closed etc. Waited for a while. Limited amount of food.. can be very chilly in there. Service can be really good and friendly depending who's there

Dreadful service, rude server. Only one vegetarian sausage roll and nothing else veggie on offer

Always wonderful. The food is great. A great selection. Accessible throughout. Staff are really friendly. Very Covid safe with social distancing in place. With masks worn when not eating.

Busy hubbub, everyone enjoying themselves, food good. Then the unnecessary music came on. We asked for it to be turned off as i have a hearing disability and the sound was excruciating. Our request was rejected, and we were told in no uncertain terms that “the music is part of the vibe”. So if you have profound hearing loss don’t expect a disabled-friendly welcome here.

It's such a shame that Artisan wasn't able to accommodate my partner being a coeliac so we couldn't eat here. They even had gluten free quiche on the menu and with a few tweaks and a bit of care with their serving processes (such as keeping these GF items separate and using separate serving spoons to avoid contamination) he would have been safe to eat. I do hope they sort this out as it was never a problem with the previous owners and we loved eating here regularly, it had the best salady /cafe food in Shoreham.
