M&S Cafe

Went about 5.00pm. Not very busy at all - a blessing. 20% off home and Christmas currently. Bought a couple of nice bone china mugs (photo attached). Popped into the main cafe (not the one right by the entrance), very few people there either. I can recommend the smoked bacon sandwich.

Had a breakfast and toast was rock hard. No good if you have false teeth. Need to make the seating area twice the size. If your on your own by the time you queue and get served I'm sometimes walking round for ages waiting for a table.

It's a fairly big cafe but needs to be made bigger as there's always people waiting for seats. Some of the tables have been pushed together to make room for more people so depends how much privacy you like. Regular cleaning. Good variety of food and drinks but on a busy day, expect to have to wait a little longer and food may not arrive very hot as I had a cold/warm jacket potato today. Generally can't fault the place though.

No queues to get in either the store or the cafe. Great selection of snacks and cakes. Coffees freshly made to order and it was a decent flat white. There were plenty of spare tables each with a perspex screen between it and the next table. Pleasant and polite staff. Nice to get back to a bit of normal.

The avocado on toast with poached egg was awful.The avocado was very sweet, straight out of the fridge and poorly mashed. No seasoning at all.

Just had a wonderful experience at Fosse Park M&S cafe. Arrived with minutes to spare before closing and was served by the lovely assistant, Simone. She was happy to help with my order and didn't rush me at all. The food is so fresh and the coffee was delicious. Highly recommend.

Nice coffee but geeesh totally heaving when I went - more like a noisy canteen than a cafe.

Lovely new M&S cafe in store, nice, bright, clean and calm environment.

Attractive cakes once we walked in, however food choices are not much, especially hot food.

Price is reasonable considering it’s M&S quality, service is good, lovely, polite staff.

Plenty parking, including disabled parking right outside, believe it has time limit.
