The pump is such a wonderful place to eat in. The staff are lovely, so polite and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is delicious. A good choice on the menu and a good portion size given. The cakes are homemade and so yummy. I will definately keep visiting this great little tearooms.

I have booked a table on many occasions with family and friends and The Pump never fails to satisfy ones hunger (unless they've run out of quiche which is a firm favourite with many patrons but there's other yummy food to tempt us on the menu, so definitely not a complaint :-).

A wonderful, local venue, with local produce and delicious handmade, homestyle food; in a quaint cottage setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are fair considering they put a lot of effort into baking and creating fresh dishes daily and many of the ingredients are locally sourced.

Would recommend.

Four of us went for afternoon tea at The Pump today. 2nd May 2022. I can honestly say it was delicious. Everything was freshly made, very tasty sandwiches, cakes & scones were very yummy. Well presented & staff were delightful. Thank you. Xxx
