The 1955 Club

This place must be one of a kind in the area as it was very busy and seems particularly popular in the afternoon with local young mothers with accompanying baby pram. Be prepared to maneuver around these. There's a nice selection of dishes in this café and is in a good location just off the main road. Enjoyed a blended coffee with a non-plastic straw (presumably bio-friendly). The eggs Benedict were tasty, but were slightly smaller than excpeted considering the price.

The 1955 Club sits somewhere between a cafe and a restaurant, offering breakfast dishes, a selection of coffees and smoothies, alongside alcoholic drinks and meals.

The staff were all very helpful, and the restaurant itself was very busy, which is a good sign.

The 1955 Club is one of those casual little gems that you stumble upon and know you're going to return.

Friendly service & good atmosphere/decor. Nice menu range and reasonable priced. Full (veg) English and coffee was good quality. Pancakes were basic. Would come back again

Staff are really fantastic. Friendly and helpful. They're knowledgeable and sympathetic to vegan and other dietary requirements. The coffee and cakes are great.
They have a great menu including breakfast, which I look forward to trying sometime.

Wow! What a lovely Cafe!!! Best bacon sandwich in toasted sourdough bread I've ever had!!!! Delisious coffee. Fast, friendly and charming service. Very fair prices. Pain au chocolate very good as was the croissants. 100% Will be back tomorrow, I highly recommend! 👌

Anyway - my HONEST and TRUE review.
Small portions, over priced, unhappy staff and owners provide a sullen atmosphere.
As the owner suggests, there are many great places in Walton - on - Thames, go spend your hard earned cash at one of those - and give this place a wide berth.

The best place to go for breakfast in my opinion. The food is always lovely and they have so many wonderful options. They also cater very well for vegetarians and vegans and also those who suffer from allergies. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Can’t wait to come back again!
