One of the best lunches I've had in March and the service was excellent.

Just returned from Cafe Express where my partner and I had a full English breakfast. It was without a doubt the worst fry up I’ve ever been served. The portion size was very good, but that’s were the good news ends. Bubble and Squeak was tasteless and soggy. Eggs were watery and again tasteless. Sausages were mealy and so cheap you could swish them between your teeth. Bacon was a cheap cut but about the best thing on the plate. I spat food out for the first time in a greasy spoon in my life, and left the cafe having eaten about 5% of my meal. I urge the owner to head to the local Wetherspoons for one of their breakfasts, because at £8.50 per plate he’s achieving about 2% of the quality and value that ‘Spoons are doing. Honestly disgusting food and I’ll never eat there again. I’m shocked at the good reviews.

Very nice place, with food that was equally good. Service staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would comment on development would be the omelette choices. It would be good to have a selection of 2 -3 fillings with out additional charge.
