Woodies is a great location to stop and enjoy the incredible ‘Turner’s View’, it’s along a cycle track so is very popular with cyclists. The staff are very friendly and the food is great! We often get a sausage and egg, or bacon, which are delicious. Also parking is only £1 for the day, where else do you get that?!

Great burgers and bacon buttoes.Good priced mug of tea and biscuits for the dog. Stunning setting. This remains a family favourite. Perfect end to a walk.

It's a beautiful spot and the staff are very nice. It's cash only and I didn't have any (the staff directed us to nearest cash point but with kids and snacks for them I decided it wasn't worth it) so we enjoyed the view, and turned for home.
