Decent food, good portion sizes and good value for money. Friendly staff. No.1 cafe for a fry up in bemmie. As an extra bonus it's just down the road from my work. The transformation that the new owners have done compared with what was there previously is amazing.

I ordered a standard chicken roast, I paid extra for a Yorkshire pudding & cauliflower cheeses. I opted for take away and was happy to wait until my order was ready.

So witnessed some of the food orders coming out to the sit in diners. Saw two diners return their roast dinners because both their meals were cold!!

Was given my order in takeaway cartons and in a bag, also the lovely lady said sorry for the wait. But I was prepped to wait this long as I’d not pre-ordered.

Sadly I was disappointed on returning home to find-
1 - No gravy
2 - No stuffing
3 - No Yorkshire Pudding

I returned home within BS3 shocked at the lack of temperature with my food. But whilst warming everything up in the microwave - this gave me plenty of time to make my own gravy!!!

Only to find everything tasteless.

Will never return or recommend!

Hunger made me step into this cafe for breakfast and was suggested to go for a large breakfast. First impressions, the food came in hot and in no time, the portions are decent for the price and the taste is really good. The items included 2 bacon, 2 sausages, omelette, mushrooms, beans, black pudding, potatoes, tomatoes and 2 toasts aaaaand a cuppa for £5.50. Prices of other items are great compared to normal cafes elsewhere. The staff is always attentive and is friendly, the premises are clean. The free parking on the road is a bonus. Definitely worth paying a visit and you will not regret it.

Really great value for money. Nice close location. Clean enough other than a few plates from what I assume was Sunday midday rush. Food was well priced and in good proportions. Great for a fry up for sure!
