We celebrated being married with a family brunch at ginger and pickles. We had the top floor to ourselves with about 20 people all in all. Liz and Chris could not have been more wonderful. They really made us feel special and I cannot thank them enough. They even baked our wedding cake. Thank you so much

Another visit just as good as the last, had the same meal again ,very nice coffee with ameretto flovour ,wife had the home made soup, which was also great , staircase is a little steep as it's an old building but that adds to the Charm as do the separate rooms, very friendly staff, excellent choice of food good choice of flavoured coffees

Characters are what make a place distinctive in its identity. Within ginger and pickles among its very lovely staff, is one particular woman who we always see, who’s just the thriving energy of the place! She’s definitely one of the reasons we go back, along with its tasty coffee, and salivating well cooked and delicious food. I don’t think we have ever been disappointed - even on busy days. Recommend! Even if you want to just drop by for a cake and a tasty coffee.

We were greeted with a warm welcome at Ginger and Pickles, in a lovely environment. The coffee was delicious (both the espresso and the latte) and the food choices were varied and interesting. We had soup of the day (a delicious white onion and thyme) with a perfect cheese scone, and oatcakes with Stilton, black pudding & chilli jam. Both dishes were sublime, and filling. Highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch, lunch and tea.

Visited today for the first time during a cycle ride. Loved it, fantastic menu and delicious food. We sat upstairs and the young staff are brilliant and a credit to the business. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

The cafe/building was pretty but the food and service was overpriced and disappointing.

The cafe was very cold and our food/coffee came cold. Staff weren’t open to facilitate reasonable adjustments in the meal and suggested any changes would cost, even if other items were taken away. The freshly squeezed orange was £3.50 but wasn’t fresh as it was bottled. We didn’t find the service friendly, especially as one of the plates was dropped down as the waitress couldn’t wait to get away.

In isolation, any one of these things would be fine, but as an overall experience it wasn't great.

Absolutely delightful little place, plenty more space to sit down than it looks like from the outside.
Very friendly staff, delicious food and plenty of gluten free options.
I had the chilli cheese toast with spring onions and a griddled egg, it comes with two large pieces of toast and is very tasty.
I had the dirty Chai for a drink, which was also superb

Friendly, nice coffee, lots of interesting seating areas inside, and a quiet pedestrian street to enjoy outside. Those caramel shortcakes look amazing too!

Only negatives are that it's definitely on the higher end price-wise and there's no WiFi. Suspect I'll still be popping back before the end of my stay in Nantwich though!
