Cue is nestled amongst the numerous shops on Allandale Road. The interior decor is very minimalistic and modern. I've seen a few reviews that stated there isn't much seating, but for a Café I'd say there is ample seating.

I was pleasantly surprised that the food here was halal. I got the 'full brunch' it's basically a full English breakfast... Instead of hash browns you get lovely roasted potatoes. The chicken sausages were delicious, the eggs were cooked to perfection with lovely runny yolks. I really enjoyed the toast too as it was toasted beautifully! My only criticism would be that the portabello mushroom that is served is just a tiny piece, so don't expect a huge mushroom! That said overall the breakfast was really delicious, everything was seasoned really well.

My better half got the buttermilk pancakes which were amazing.

The other thing worth mentioning is that the coffee was brilliant. Ordered cappuccino and instead of chocolate powder they put shavings of dark chocolate which was fantastic.

Customer service was brilliant, our server was very friendly and offered to warm our chocolate croissant (which was very tasty).

I think I'll definitely be coming here again and try some other items next time around. I would definitely recommend this place. It's probably on the pricier side but the service and food is fantastic.

One of my favourite breakfast/brunch spots. Great halal food, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.

Highly recommend the brisket hash.

Very nice setting, the decor is very Scandinavian and perfect for a relaxing Sunday day. Breakfast is great and their beans are fantastic. Coffees are also great. All the food is well presented. Will definitely be back

Took a trip to see relatives and stopped off for breakfast. Lovely decor, really friendly staff and the food was really tasty. The beef bacon on the English breakfast was a little chewy, I think I’d prefer Turkey bacon, but the rest was lovely. The pancakes are delicious, really thick and indulgent.
The floor could’ve done with a sweep but we will absolutely be back, friendly staff and nice atmosphere! The coffees are divine too.

Service is good! I find that they tend to run out of things a bit too often. Food is okay, but can be better for the price you pay. Lacks consistency, otherwise it’s a good spot for a decent breakfast brunch 👍🏽

Best Halal breakfast in leicester!! very aesthetic and delicious!! Cafe is a bit small but we still got seating :D. Menu items were delicious and fresh. Tried coming back in september last yesr but they were shut due to a staff member having covid so I was extremely disappointed. Nevertheless I will 200% try to return again as the food was delicious and vibes were just so nice. Staff members were so nice ans lovely as well. Only problem is, is that its a tiny bit far from the city centre. But defo worth the trek as it really is the best in leicester for halal breakfast / brunch.

Nice ambience and good customer service but food was just average nothing special. Had the beef brisket hash along with chocolate and peanut butter shake. the beef brisket was bland not much taste but the shake was good. Not worth the price.
Would go back but would try something different

To start with the good bits. A simple, cosy and welcoming feel with the decor and seating. My first two times we were served by a young girl who is very helpful and polite which seems from her own accord and personality which makes the service good. The 3rd time was a young lad who either was having a bad day or just lacks interpersonal skills, lack of product knowledge and a little abrupt hence i was not happy with the service. The pricing structure seems all over the place with certain items well overpriced for example a croissant is about the same price as a full breakfast. I went on boxing day with some guests as it was the only place open. Maybe the lad working was new but lacking any enthusiasm. We ordered a shakshuka which is an Arab origin dish but requested the vegan sausages be replaced with either toast or more eggs, but it so happens that this is the first shakshuka ever to not contain eggs. I showed the lad every image on Google has eggs with it and asked to speak to management as he said they know better since the owners are arabs, But on all occasions I have been there, the owners refuse to come to speak to customers and build rapport and for that I feel they fail in their customer service and offer a very cold experience being a small dine in. Eventually they accepted to put the egg in, when it came out it was not a shakshuka at all, it was a load of peppers with a fried egg thrown on top. I have noticed with every breakfast ordered all 3 times, no effort goes into making the food and it feels like ingredients cooked and thrown onto a plate. It can be a great place hoping they make a few changes but for now I cannot say I'd recommend Cue.
