A little oasis in the heart of Northampton. Quality food and pretty garden.

Great cafe in the heart of the town, had a very homely feel, it's like going to your nans house except the food is delicious! Staff very friendly and welcoming as well.

Used to be great, and whilst the food is still very good, the service has dropped below par, with questions about what's available to eat seeming to cause unnecessary issues ; plus, the man who appears to run the private members club, next door, walks around the Café with a constant sneer and like there's a smell under his nose... if he thinks he's so superior, he should stick to hanging around the club, rather than putting people off their tea/coffee and meals!

Poor. Called in on a Saturday afternoon for tea. Was told that the reason that there was no milk was that "we've been rushed off our feet". Three other tables being used in the cafe; and the two diners that there had been in the dining room told me that they weer the only ones for lunch. If that is rushed off your feet, you ought not to be running a cafe. No glasses ("Oh, we've been *so* busy !").

Oh well - we've tried it once - we'll know better for another time.

Just across the road is the cafe in All Saints church.

Beautiful place tucked away in town, didn't know it was there, i had been treated to an afternoon tea for 2 so I took my 90 year old dad, the service was amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, they even picked fresh flowers from the garden to put on our table. We sat in the lovely dining room to accommodate and make my dad feel comfortable. Very friendly and the tea was delicious, too much to eat, so they kindly packed it up for us to bring home.
