Absolutely fantastic hot and cold food, cakes, and drinks. Staff were very friendly and I would come back here without a doubt.

Nice cafe with convenient location. They have limited options but their bakery items were amazing. Best part is they open their cafe early so you can grab your breakfast here if planning to start your day early. Staff is really amazing and helpful. Definitely recommended.

The experience was ruined by a rude ignorant and extremely unhelpful waitress who totally ignored us . Another member of staff Sharon was totally apologetic about it and very helpful but by then you have had enough. If you don't want to work there then quit but don't make customers suffer for your rudeness

Decent cakes, clean premises and helpful staff. The cakes were decent, not maybe world beating but a pleasant break from walking around town.

We stopped here for a coffee and pastry after having an enjoyable walk around Rye. The coffee and pastry was fine but the table hadn't been cleaned. It was sticky and covered in crumbs. Yuk.

The food was OK. Jempson's are quite a presence in Rye. Unfortunately, they support the Keep Sunday Special campaign. I look forward to them joining us in the 21st century.

Good place to wait for a train and early morning ( opens early). Been coming for years BUT …espresso need to be served scalding. The heavy cups are to retain heat and the coffee machine has the facility to heat them first otherwise it is inevitably cool which is not how espresso is best served. Small point but worth noting. Overall still my favourite.
