Really poor experience. I waited 23 minutes in the queue to buy two cans of drink (£2 each). They make up sandwiches and coffees while people wait at the till. If you want to buy an ice cream (£3/£5) you can pay at the front of the cafe but otherwise you need to wait. When I asked if I could pay for the drinks while the man in front had sandwiches made I was told that wasn’t possible. When I said I’ve waited more than 20 minutes I was told there were only three of them.

Went here and walked the lake stopped for a coffee which was nice and enjoyed watching the water sports going on.
The public part of the lake was busy so we didn't stop but would consider coming back another day soon.

Really enjoyed bringing the kids here. Park and location was amazing for the children and they do some water activities so probably will be back in the summer for that. Unfortunately the cafe is really expensive, the food was ok, 25 quid for 3 sandwich baguettes and 2 coffees is enough to push me to make sandwiches and bring a flask. So, I'd recommend a visit but bring your own food!

I bought a coke but brought my own sandwich which they seemed ok with. If you're scared of wasps just remember they are pollination technician. I thought they had real dinosaur 🦖 but they were just plastic, I guess you can have your cake and eat it too. 🥰

Really pretty, good size for a decent walk, huge lake, with lots to do for the whole family. And a good cafe.

Lovely picturesque view, but my gosh £4.50 for the kids sandwhich box which contains one slice of bread with tiny piece of cheese and an apple, tiny yogurt and small pack of sweets, is ridiculously expensive. No wonder families feed on MacDonalds around the corner. Adult sandwich was a small baton roll for £6+ Saturday lunch and most menu options unavailable. The wife suggested we go elsewhere, she was correct. This is a big opportunity, missed imo. Get Kaya on the job here
