Beautiful liocation next to the river and well laid out/managed arrival. I had a goats cheese tart, qhich was well presented an tasty. My son had eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise but the eggs were not runny. We ordered cakes and they had a good variety including an amazing gluten free and dairy free lemon one. I picked coffee which looked good but was very dry. So overall a mixed experience!!

Well I've been visiting the Waterfront for many years and this time I was for the first time disappointed.

My wife did not enjoy the lemon cake. I tried it and agreed it was crumbly rather than spongy. The cinnamon bun was doughy and I left half of it.
I give this feedback in the hope it's taken on board rather than seen as criticism so the proprietor can up his game to reflect his high quality of food as per the past.

I'm not commenting on the service as the cafe was packed as seen in the photo.

After all it's a great venue by the river.

Fantastic cafe with a good menu. Fast service of drinks and food and it was busy. Beautiful views of the river

Despite being busy the staff were great. They immediately opened up another till when a queue formed to take our order. The food came quickly, was piping hot and delicious. Great location next to the river. Parking can be a bit tight so if you don't want a fuss park up on the left before you turn in and it's a 1 min walk.

I don’t know what all the hype is about , deadest breakfast I’ve ever had. They take orders for things when they don’t even have it, ordered upper deck breakfast too add toast was an extra £3. Charging £3 plus for soft drinks, The bacon looked and tasted like it was microwaved with white gunk on it. Waitress had a 1 meter walk too deliver breakfast and dropped a sausage on route. Coffee is bland , and the cake we ordered didn’t even have but gave us a terrible replacement. Awful ,could of made better at home and will never return. Absolute shambles run by kids and overpriced.

Been quite a few times and always sit outside, nice food, lovely views especially in spring/summer. Parking is a nightmare, very limited! Service is usually great though last time we were left waiting 3-4 minutes before eventually seating ourselves, despite there appearing to be staff floating around cleaning tables, and it was relatively quiet. Overall a good place, great to sit outside in summer and watch the river and boats go by. Good burgers and chips too.

We are sat outside and enjoyed a hot chocolate which was really very nice. There are posters everywhere which say 'one way' like a left over from COVID which was very confusing. But the setting is nice overlooking the river although Le Boats get in the way somewhat.

The service was excellent. The fish n chips were scrumptious. Had to order food via an app to avoid contact but the service was prompt. Great view of the River Thames. Overall a fabulous place and plan to return.
