Awesome place. Great menu and run by lovely people. Amazing what you can do with lots of random furniture and a nice idea!

What a lovely little gem in Nailsworth! I had a delicious Turkish breakfast, cappuccino and persian cake! Everything was on point, although the cake was too sweet for my taste.
Big variety of bakes, cakes and a diverse breakfast menu! The staff was very friendly. It’s one of the main highlights of my first visit to Nailsworth. Love it :)

P.S.: If you’re coming with your dog(s), make sure you break something soft for them to lay on. The ground there is rocky and there’s nowhere for them to sit.

Excellent quality food, the cakes here are some of the best I have ever tasted and I have travelled around the world. I had a spiced pumpkin cake, it was so moist and fresh. I will be having many more now I have moved to the area. I'm also looking forward to going back to try a breakfast.

Let me start by saying the spiced pumpkin cake is a triumph and whoever makes that is a serious baker! Not something I’d normally go for but, wow. What wasn’t so great, the staff were a bit of a wet Monday vibe, cakes were covered in wasps as they’re not covered and you’d hope for a no smoking area for people who want to enjoy the outdoor seating (especially with their babies/children) but it seems it’s fine to puff away in any seat. Take away cake in future

Lovely, lovely baked goods. My partner had a cheese and spinach scone, which was heated up and served with butter. I had a tiramisu brownie, which was one of the sweetest but also most interesting brownies I have ever had. (I really like sweet things, so being really sweet is a great thing in my book!)

The coffee is decent.

The staff are really helpful. The older server who made our coffees and served us was so warm, genuine and lovely. She really had a lovely manner about her.

The place is dog friendly inside too, which is a huge bonus for us.

We came here for the first time a few years ago but were happy on our return visit today to find that it's still a welcoming venue with yummy treats.

Mother and me just went here for a coffee and cakes. Came in at 3:40pm was welcomed by a nice lady who told us to sit down and enjoy ourselves, we asked if it was too late to order food she asured us it was not. Had a lovely coffee and cakes however as soon as 5pm came some rude younger staff told us the place was closed and we needed to leave. Hadn't even finished my coffee. Thought that was rather rude. Could have let us finish our drinks.

The Canteen is always warm & friendly, the staff are lovely, there is always a great selection of interesting dishes & cakes to choose from. Inside & outside seating in separate booths available. It's definitely a treat you shouldn't miss.

Excellent outdoors hangout. Love what they've done with the courtyard. Funky booths. The best coffee I've had for ages. Dog friendly. People friendly. Well done folks.
