Something for everyone, forest walks, canal and riverside, large childrens' play area, bouncy castles, pool, cafe with great food and most important of all, a miniature steam (and diesel) traction railway.

Good Pizza & Burgers.. service as always polite and quick They could offer better cutlery to all people eating in, instead of the wooden stuff which hardly cut a pizza and you help yourself to.
Salads are a great concept, but personally don't think they work in terms of taste.
It's Reasonably priced, expect to spend £12/£15pp if your having a full lunch. They do have kids meals also so that's a plus.
Definitely visiting again.

Lovely park and facilities. Huge spaces for crowds to spread out and have in spaces. Weather was brilliant. ENJOYED TO THE MAX

I come here quite often. The food is fresh and the cakes appear home made style. Atmosphere is great and in most cases sitting outside is amazing.

Hot chocolate with regular milk taste awful. Next time will try with oat.

View is great. Plenty space for kids to play around.

Range of classic cakes. E.g brownies.

I often come here it is very busy and the staff are polite and generally good given how busy and noisy it is.
They have a system of table numbers so when you go to the counter to order you are asked for your table no before you pay ,it works well, Except signage is not good and table no's are not always easy to spot ,

If you are alone however and I generally am on my visits , my experience is that I have to place an item of clothing or a bag on a seat to reserve the table in the first instance before queuing to order with the potential risk that it may be stolen or accidentally picked up by another customer, or a staff member or customer doing a good deed who may think it has been left or forgotten whilst Iam queuing up to order which can be sometimes quite a few minutes as it is generally so busy.

I think this table number system is flawed or at least not thought out properly in terms of single customers like myself who do not have the benefit of another person looking after the table whilst the other(s) queue to order their items at the counter, it seems to be convenient for at least two or more customers together but not the singleton, if a table number is not given by a lone or single customer who may not be aware of the system, a name should suffice at the counter.
Other than that and given how busy it is it's pretty good!!
